Designed to be usable
This site uses clear headings, labelled forms, keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus indicators. Text can be enlarged using your browser, and layouts adapt to smaller screens. Essential information is available as text.
Finding your way around
Use the “Skip to content” link at the start of each page to move past the navigation. On smaller screens, the Menu button opens the page links. Press Escape to close it and return focus to the button.
The wildlife directory can be searched by typing an animal, organisation or place. Its filter buttons announce whether they are selected. Advice sections expand using the keyboard or a tap.
